His experience includes oversight of capital planning, treasury management, covenant compliance, and long-term financial strategy, ensuring organisational resilience and prudent stewardship of resources.
Akshay contributes disciplined scrutiny to board deliberations on liquidity, financial performance, internal controls, and strategic investment. With board experience spanning housing, NHS hospital trust, and community organisations, he provides constructive challenge and strategic insight to strengthen governance frameworks that underpin safe, effective, and financially sound healthcare provision.
He holds a BSc (Hons) in Banking and International Finance from City University London.
